Laura Browne expresses her sense of energy and onement in nature using a variety of mixed-media. In some stained glass installations she incorporates a slice of Yukon jade which she has mined and polished. 
Her journey to reach sources of inspiration involve planning trips around the timing of the full moon, and being prepared to sleep on mountain tops for a few nights and days full of sketching and painting … to explore the heights and depths of inner and external nature.
Lately, she has had the opportunity to delve deeply into decades of sketchbooks and photos rediscovering hidden messages.
