RITA

Rita Paakkunainen has always loved arts and crafts, and loves it when things turn out as expected or better.  Rita is always looking for something new to try.  When she began exploring water colours, forty years ago, she found she loved realism and aimed to achieve this.  This was a medium that surprised her with what she could do with it.
When Rita moved to Bayfield, she discovered acrylics and has been exploring this medium since; including texture and palette knife. She sometimes finds simplicity has the best result.  Rita loves observing the world around her, often surprising herself of her accomplishments.  Rita paints from deep within.
